A communications installation is only useful when the next technician can understand it. The handover scope can be tailored to the project and may include cable schedules, outlet references, rack elevations, test information, photographs and as-built records.

Customer cabling work is completed by registered cablers and documented in line with applicable Australian cabling requirements, including the required cabling compliance statement where relevant.

What is the difference between data cabling and structured cabling?
Data cabling commonly describes the individual copper or fibre links that connect network devices. Structured cabling describes the complete organised system—including pathways, outlets, horizontal cabling, backbone links, patch panels, racks, labels and documentation—designed to be maintained and expanded over time.
Do you install Cat6 and Cat6A cabling?
Yes. Masters Voice Technology installs Cat6 and Cat6A structured cabling for suitable commercial applications. The appropriate cable category should be selected according to the required network performance, pathway conditions, connected equipment, project budget and expected lifecycle.
Are your communications cablers ACMA registered?
Yes. Customer telecommunications cabling is performed or supervised by appropriately registered cablers. Masters Voice Technology lists structured cabling registration A042849.
Will the installed cabling be tested and labelled?
The agreed project scope can include field testing, outlet and patch-panel identification, cable schedules, test information and as-built documentation. The required test method and records should be confirmed during project planning.
Can you install fibre optic cabling?
Fibre can be included where the project requires building backbones, floor distribution, campus links, longer distances or higher-capacity network infrastructure. The fibre type, pathway, termination and test requirements are confirmed against the network design and site conditions.
Can you upgrade or clean up an existing communications rack?
Yes. Existing racks and communications rooms can be reviewed for patching, labelling, cable management, abandoned cabling, available space and practical remediation. The scope may range from minor reorganisation to a planned rack replacement or staged migration.
Can communications, electrical and AV work be completed together?
