AV built for how schools and universities actually work
Education environments have unique demands: systems must be simple enough for teaching staff to operate without training, robust enough to survive daily use by students, and reliable enough that a failure during a class or assembly has immediate consequences. Masters Voice Technology has delivered AV across primary schools, performing arts high schools, TAFE campuses and libraries throughout NSW.
We are an approved supplier on the NSW Department of Education Maintenance and Support Panel, providing AV, electrical and communications maintenance services to schools across the state. Since January 2024 we have completed over 1,000 DoE service jobs, averaging 68 jobs per month. This volume of school work means we understand the operational realities of education facilities in a way that generalist integrators do not.
What we deliver for education
Our education AV capability covers school hall and performing arts PA systems using Fohhn line array and Q-SYS DSP, school-wide PA and emergency communication with our custom Q-SYS bell management software, classroom display and presentation systems, lecture theatre and collaborative learning space AV, digital signage for campuses and common areas, and ongoing managed maintenance under DoE panel arrangements.
Our bell management software
Masters Voice Technology has developed a Q-SYS-based school PA and bell management system deployed across multiple NSW Catholic and government schools. The system provides fully automated bell scheduling with term-based calendars, automated holiday suspension, emergency paging with priority routing, and a simple touchscreen and web interface for staff. All configuration is stored on the Q-SYS Core, enabling remote updates across multiple school sites with minimal downtime.
