The Oran Park Library, part of Camden Council's new civic precinct in south-west Sydney, was designed as a dynamic community hub for education, creativity and connection — not just a place for books. Camden Council required a comprehensive AV system capable of supporting film nights, interactive storytime sessions, digital workshops and public events across multiple activity zones.
The library's design presented specific challenges: open spaces, significant ambient light, and multiple distinct activity zones requiring different AV behaviours. Key objectives included high-lumen projection visible under ambient light, interactive engagement zones for community and children's programs, reliable low-maintenance hardware for public operation, and clean architectural integration with concealed AV elements throughout.

Project Goals
Oran Park Library now operates as a genuinely multi-purpose community space. The AV system supports film nights, digital workshops, educational programs and children's interactive sessions from a single integrated platform that library staff manage confidently without technical support.
The EyeClick interactive floor installation in particular has become a draw for families and school groups, establishing Oran Park Library's reputation as a model for smart community infrastructure in NSW. Long-life laser projectors reduce servicing requirements and the modular architecture supports future expansion as the library's programming evolves.
