Camden Council
Camden Council's Oran Park Library was designed as a community hub, not just a library — and its AV system had to match that ambition. Masters Voice Technology delivered an integrated system combining Epson laser projection, Yamaha line array audio and EyeClick interactive floor technology, creating a space that now draws families, school groups and community programs equally.

Creating a Flexible AV Environment for Learning, Events and Community Engagement
Oran Park Library was designed as more than a traditional library. It needed to operate as a community hub for learning, events, digital engagement and family-friendly activities.
The AV system needed to support:
- Film screenings and public presentations
- Interactive workshops and education sessions
- Children’s activities and immersive play zones
- Clear audio coverage across different library areas
- Reliable projection in spaces affected by ambient light
- Simple operation for staff without technical AV experience
- Neat installation that respected the modern architectural finish
The key challenge was to deliver a professional commercial AV system that could support multiple use cases while remaining easy to operate, low maintenance and suitable for a busy public environment.
How the Library AV System Was Designed to Work
The AV system workflow was designed to make the library easy to operate across different event types and public programs. Staff can move between presentation, cinema, workshop and interactive modes without needing to manage separate systems manually. Masters Voice Technology delivered a state-of-the-art audio visual integration project for Oran Park Library, supporting Camden Council’s vision for a modern, flexible and community-focused library environment. The project combined interactive projection, large venue laser projection, immersive audio, interactive play technology and centralised AV control into one integrated system. The result is a flexible public space that can support film nights, digital workshops, children’s programs, presentations, community events and educational activities. As a leading audio visual installer in Sydney, Masters Voice Technology designed the system to be practical for library staff, reliable for public use and visually integrated into the architectural design of the space.
Interactive projection allows library staff, presenters and community groups to display content, write, annotate and collaborate during workshops, education programs and public sessions.

High-lumen laser projection supports large-format viewing for film nights, community presentations and special events, even in spaces where ambient light can affect visibility.
Slim line array speakers, ceiling speakers and amplification provide clear, even audio coverage for speech, video playback, workshops and public programming

Interactive floor and wall projection systems create engaging play and learning zones for children, families and school groups.
The Solution
Masters Voice Technology designed and installed a modular AV system that combined projection, sound, interactivity and control into one coordinated solution.
The system was selected to suit the library’s physical environment, public use requirements and long-term operational needs. Each AV element was chosen to support a clear purpose: collaboration, presentation, audience engagement, children’s learning or simple staff operation.
The design also considered cable routing, equipment mounting, ventilation and service access to maintain a clean architectural finish and support long-term reliability.
The solution included:
- Clear interactive projection for workshops and collaborative learning
- High-brightness laser projection for large-format content
- Distributed audio for speech clarity and background content
- Interactive play projection for children’s engagement
- Centralised AV control for simple operation
- Professional installation designed around the building architecture
Technology Integrated Across the Library and Community Spaces
The AV solution combines Epson interactive and high-brightness projection, Yamaha column-array loudspeakers, Australian Monitor ceiling speakers, Crown amplification and interactive EyeClick systems to support the library’s broad range of community activities. The Epson EB-1485Fi provides interactive presentation and collaboration, while the 13,000-lumen Epson projector delivers clear large-format content for auditorium events, film screenings and public presentations. Yamaha and Australian Monitor loudspeakers provide balanced speech and programme audio throughout the spaces, supported by reliable Crown amplification. EyeClick Obie and Beam Pro systems add engaging interactive experiences for children’s programs, workshops and community learning, creating a flexible technology environment that can adapt to education, entertainment and public events.
Epson EB-1485Fi interactive projectors were used to support collaboration, annotation and workshop-style learning environments. The EB-1485Fi is a Full HD interactive laser projector with 5,000 lumens of colour and white light output, making it suitable for bright education and meeting spaces

For the main presentation and cinema area, the system used the Epson EB-PU2213B large venue laser projector. This projector provides 13,000 lumens of colour and white light output with WUXGA resolution, supporting high-impact visual content for larger public spaces.
Yamaha VXL slim line array speakers were used to provide clear and consistent speech and media playback while maintaining a discreet visual profile. Yamaha’s VXL series is designed with wide horizontal dispersion and a slim form factor that suits architectural spaces where sound quality and visual integration both matter

EyeClick Obie Joy and Beam Pro systems were installed to create interactive play experiences for children. EyeClick interactive projectors can turn floors, walls and tables into interactive surfaces, supporting motion-based play and learning experiences in education, healthcare and public environments
